St. Anne’s is very well equipped in the practical area with three modern Science Laboratories.  We also have specialist rooms for Art, Music, Technology, Computers and Home Economics.  We are delighted to be have received funding for a total refurbishment of our Home Economics room due for completion in November 2026 and a new Technical Graphics classroom due for completion in January 2027.Home Economics.

We are delighted to have opened our new Special Class for students with a diagnosis of
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at St. Anne’s in September 2025. This marks a significant
and exciting step forward in our commitment to inclusion and creating a nurturing,
supportive environment for all learners. At St. Anne’s, we believe that every child deserves to
feel valued, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential. The new class offers a
tailored, student-centred approach, ensuring that each child receives the care, support, and
opportunities they need to thrive as part of our community. A second Special Class will open in September 2027 following completion of our Modular Build with new Sensory room, specialised classrooms and soft play area.

The Department of Education Inspectorate noted that “the school building is maintained to a high standard and a recent programme of refurbishment and renovation has ensured that the rooms and corridors are bright and freshly painted” during the most recent Whole School Evaluation. Building works on existing corridors have been undertaken as recently as July 2021 to ensure that the building is consistently maintained to the highest standard possible.” Further works have been sanctioned and funded by the DEY for replacement of the gas boilers for October 2026 and plans are underway for further building works over Summer 2027.
