Students are also encouraged to enter a wide variety of events and competitions. These competitions include:

During the year, strong emphasis is placed on Career Guidance to help students with subject choices in Fifth Year and in future career choices. Visiting Speakers regularly speak to students in relation to career choices.
Due to the varied nature of the programme, students must keep a record of all events in special TY Electronic Journal and Portfolio. These are reviewed throughout the year and assessed before final Graduation in May.
