St. Anne’s is a Catholic voluntary secondary school for girls, established by the Sisters of Mercy, over one hundred and thirty years ago on Rosanna Road, Tipperary Town. While a great deal has changed since that time the excellent academic standard and strong caring ethos continues to permeate daily life in St. Anne’s School.
Our dedicated teaching staff provide a positive academic environment where students are encouraged to excel. It is within such an environment that your daughter will flourish, both academically and personally. A comprehensive programme is in place to ease the transition from primary school so that new students can more easily adjust to what should be a great adventure, establishing themselves as integrated happy individuals with a sense of their own worth. We invite parents to join us as partners in the education of their daughters. Together we will work to ensure that the girls entrusted to our care will grow to achieve their full potential in accordance with our school motto ‘per Ardua Ad Astra’ reach for the stars.
This prospectus provides information of interest to prospective students and their parents. I hope that it will help you in the important decision that you and your daughter have to make, your choice of second level school. On behalf of the Trustees, Management and Staff of St. Anne’s, I wish to extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to contact the school if you wish to discuss any issue relating to your daughter’s enrolment.
