As Principal of St. Anne’s Secondary School, I am delighted to welcome you to our website. I invite you to spend some time browsing to experience the activities that take place in our school as well as gaining an insight into the outstanding education that our dedicated and committed staff offer to our students.
Our curriculum is designed to be broad and varied to ensure that each student is supported to reach their potential. As a Catholic voluntary secondary school for girls, under the trusteeship of CEIST, we place a great emphasis on ensuring that each student is supported to maximise her talents both academically and personally in a safe and caring environment.
We have a highly qualified, dedicated and caring staff whose expertise enables students to excel. Our learning environment is happy and creative which contributes to the students’ enjoyment of learning, with students also benefiting from the relatively small class sizes. Students are also encouraged to get involved in the comprehensive range of extracurricular activities on offer. We believe that participation in such activities is not only hugely enjoyable but also promotes a feeling of school community and contributes to each student’s development.
As Principal, I understand the responsibility and expectations that parents and guardians place on us by entrusting their daughter’s education to us. This is a privilege that we take very seriously, and we work every day to ensure that each student is given the opportunities to be the very best that they can be.
We are supported in our work by our Board of Management, Parents’ Council and Students’ Council. St. Anne’s has built up strong partnerships with the local community in Tipperary Town and beyond and we continue to strive to strengthen and develop those partnerships further.
I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you have got an insight into life here in St. Anne’s. I invite you to contact the school if there is anything you wish to discuss.
Mr. John Cullinane
Principal
