Our curriculum is designed to be broad and varied to ensure that each student is supported to reach their potential. As a voluntary secondary school, under the trusteeship of CEIST, we place a great emphasis on academic excellence alongside outstanding pastoral care, ensuring that every student is supported to maximise their talents, both academically and personally, in a safe and caring environment. From September 2027, St. Anne’s will become a coeducational school, and we look forward to welcoming both boys and girls into our school community.

Our staff bring broad experience of teaching boys and girls, and this expertise, combined with their dedication and care, enables all our students to excel. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to knowing each student as an individual — their strengths, their interests, and who they are as a person. Our learning environment is happy and creative, which contributes to students’ enjoyment of learning, with students also benefiting from relatively small class sizes. Students are encouraged to get involved in the comprehensive range of extracurricular activities on offer. We believe that participation in such activities is not only hugely enjoyable but also promotes a feeling of school community and contributes to each student’s development.

As Principal, I understand the responsibility and expectations that parents and guardians place on us by entrusting their child’s education to us. This is a privilege that we take very seriously, and we work every day to ensure that each student is given the opportunities to be the very best that they can be.

We are supported in our work by our Board of Management, Parents’ Council and Students’ Council. St. Anne’s has built up strong partnerships with the local community in Tipperary Town and beyond, and we continue to strive to strengthen and develop those partnerships further.
