In St. Anne’s we operate a system of regular formal assessment and reporting for all students in addition to class assessments. Formal Assessments are scheduled three times during the year (the end of October, mid-February and the last week of May) and subsequent reports are available to parents/guardians online through the Vsware system. Printed reports are posted home following Mock Exams for third and sixth years and for all years in June following the May exams.

The advantages of this system are many:

• Students and teachers can evaluate progress and assess if a topic or area needs further work.
