Principal’s Welcome

secondary school for girlsWe are delighted to introduce our website which provides information of interest to both present and prospective students. It also provides a glimpse of the many activities and adventures that form part of daily life for the students and staff of St. Anne’s.

St. Anne’s is a Catholic Voluntary secondary school for girls, established by the Sisters of Mercy over one hundred and thirty years ago on Rosanna Road, Tipperary Town. We have a highly qualified, dedicated and caring staff whose expertise enables students to excel. Our learning environment is happy and creative which contributes to the students’ enjoyment of learning.  In St. Anne’s we strive to provide education of the highest quality in a positive learning environment, where each student is enabled to maximise her talents both academically and personally. We offer a broad curriculum and students benefit from relatively small class sizes. Students are encouraged to get involved in the comprehensive range of Extra Curricular Activities on offer as we believe that participation in such activities is not only hugely enjoyable but also promotes a feeling of school community.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and the snap shot of life in St. Anne’s which it provides. We also wish to extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to contact the school if there is anything you wish to discuss. Tá fáilte roimh chách bualadh isteach chun na scoile agus má tá tuilleadh eolais uaibh ní gá ach glaoch a chur orainn.

Le gach dea ghuí,

Ms. Colette Treacy (Principal)
